Fark we should be ahead by more. Poor decision making in their half has cost us.

Well well well, Roosters started out strong, got an early penalty to a shot on big JWH and then scored from a great bomb from Keary who looked like he was going to have a really big game.
Game settled into a arm wrestle and Souths fought hard to get back into the game.
Then an Roosters raid in the middle of the field saw Keary break into the backfield with Morris unmarked on the left and Teddy screaming up in the middle seemingly headed for scoring under the sticks and Keary, for reasons only he knows, held onto the ball and the movement died.
Shortly after another raid on the left edge which saw Radley to Keary to Tedesco unlocked Jmoz who put Tupou down the left edge, back inside to Jmoz who cross kicked infield for a great Roosters try scored by Kyle Flanagan who has been impressive this evening.
Shortly later a Keary (who has been our best) pass is intercepted by Gagai or was it Burns?, who appears to set sail for a long range try but Bmoz shows remarkable speed to run him down, Burns or Gagai (I cannot remember who? offloads to Johnston and Souths are going to score for sure but Bmoz someone mananges to bring him down in the same movement. It was amazing, then he defuses the kick at the end of the set gold standard stuff.
Keary makes a few more errors and we finally get on the board from a Cam Murray try after nice lead up by Latrell. But Latrell is quite a lazy footballer and you can not be a lazy player as a fullback. I really think Keary is a great player but is struggling to be the leading half now, adjusting to life without Cronk on the field. Over time he will hit form again.
Best player for the Roosters has been Radley, closely followed by the Morris brothers, Cordner and Chrichton have been very strong and your starting props JWH and Collins are beasts, Tupou and Manu classy backs, Tedesco always busy.
For Souths, Knight, Graham, Cook, Murray and Gagai have been very good, tbh its still anyones game due to the time we scored the try 6 out from half time'and the scoreline now pretty tight, however, Roosters could have been easily up by 18 or 24 if Keary didnt make those errors.Last edited by PRIDE; 05-29-2020, 10:00 PM.Originally posted by Old Man Rooster View Post

Morris brothers have been awesome especially Brett's defence , Victor the inflictor solid as well, Collins was a machine in his 20 , 1/2s are a bit disjointed but very early in the season. We should be ahead by a lot more but think if we play that way in the 2nd half we should get the points .Interested in Sam getting a run , game is fast and would suit him
