Good strong effort from the Roosters against a depleted Souths team.
I thought Flanno was good, scored a try (Latrell was nowhere to be seen) plus 4 goals but what about Teddy 10 tackle bust 267 metres & his try.
They were all pretty good.
What about Latrell, geez I feel sorry for him, he is a shadow of the player so far at Souths compared to the player I saw play for the Chooks.

Pride, thought you bloke played pretty well for a team that has Latrine at fullback, that's a massive thing to overcome , good luck with the season but not to much

Thanks 1908, I hope Bennett wakes up to himself and puts Latrell back to centre and plays AJ at Fullback.

I am spewing about Douehi though, was such a versatile player, could play any position well except maybe wing.

We will need a lot of luck this season and even then we probably wouldn't challenge the tops teams like Roosters, Raiders, Eels, Sea Eagles and Storm.

Great win against the odds , we would have won by 30 if it wasn't for Klein and him looking after the brothers. Cords was huge getting over the advantage line and trampling Reynolds.
Victor loves the contact and his hitting in defence and ball playing skills are going to suit v'landys new touch footy game.
Teddy was best on ground for mine with his cleaning up and constant threat around the ruck.
Verrills is being wasted on the bench and Robbo isn't going to give him a go by the look of it.
Morris brothers were terrific and young Flanagan went well and his goal kicking has improved which points to him putting in the work during the break.

I hope you are right but JWH does get targeted a lot so sometimes for him he gets found guilty before able to declare his innocence but I recall last year he was treated a lot more fairly. Tbh I hate to admit it but I like how he plays.

Well we did recruit him to play Fullback, if he plays centre and I do hope he does then it is a good recruitment decision. But he hasnt started centre yet and I really think Bennett, et al will start him playing FB for the rest of the year. I am not sure he is a team player and seems to be the kind of guy who will throw the toys out of the cot if he doesnt get his own way. So in my humble opinion he hasn't been a great recruitment decision and tbh I am not sure he will but I hope I am wrong on that one.

GG mate. A good attempt considering lazy Latrell was at fullback.

Yeah considering Latrell was at FB it wasnt the worst lol. But you guys probably bombed at least 2 other tries and one of our tries had a doubtful pass in the lead-up to it and even the grounding which I thought at the time was ok, may not have been 100 percent legit.

The more physical the game the better for Lindsay, he thrives on that.

The other guy to pleasantly surprise me this year is Angus...gee he is looking good. Big improvement since late last sesson.
