Football Club Membership

Bansai is considering becoming a member of the football club.

Looking at the Roosters Game Day propaganda though, it seems like 'member' just means season ticket holder.

I would have thought membership gives you some say in how the club is run.

Do members have any rights? Do they vote for the board or make decisions about how the club is run? Or is it just a bunch of bullsh1t?
