  • Radley set to miss a week

He's copped a grade 1 charge for that brilliant tackle.

An early plea is one week.

What an absolute joke and we should contest.

And Jared can escape with a fine for a grade 1 carless high tackle for the love tap that you see half a dozen times a game go unpunished if it's any other player.

I'd have to watch it again, but I know there was no hand/arm between the legs and didn't lift/drive.

Did go past the horizontal tho and made ground made contact with shoulder, which is as bad as head neck imo. If not a week, then a few points accrued maybe good to clear them as no carry overs for later in the season.

That's interesting TS to be honest I was expecting the the result to be reversed between JWH and Victor.

Have they changed the points system would of thought with all his previous charges JWH would of had enough loading that any charge would be a suspension.

That tackle was all due to the speed and momentum of the play... there was nothing Radley could do to change that outcome.
Also by aided by Souths player wanting to get to ground quickly...
Match review committee should have seen that!!
          Ridiculous charge... should be fought!!

According to James Hooper, Rads can cop 90pts with an early plea and avoid a suspension. That contrasts with the Roosters site which said 105pts with an early plea.

No Rads will hurt next week. Hopefully SST will be back.

jwh very lucky to escape suspension. I love Jared, but that tackle looked bad imo, to the south's players credit he did get up others wouldn't of, radleys was neither here nor there for mine.

Lightweight wingers taking quick restarts at pace straight into forwards will and should result in strong driving tackles. There was no intent to lift, hurt by dropping or spear. Strong, hard impact was the intent. Nothing else. The response from the match review committee is clearly wrong. Radley has been charged with a dangerous throw. Where was the “throw?”

We seem to cop suspensions after every Souths game. I think that this was a George Tafua type tackle but Gagai twisted sideways which caused him to go head first.

                      Captains Challenge it!

We must contest the charge for Rads. It was a beautiful tackle, would be shocked if he doesn't escape the charge. Even if he charges it and loses he will still only miss one week. Expect to see him go to the judicary

Even if he goes down at the tribunal, it was worth it.

The only thing better than towelling the vermin is doing it in a final - on the scoreboard and on the paddock.

I think if the legs go past the horizontal it’s deemed careless problem is there was no lift no hands between legs just like it was earlier mentioned a tiny winger sprinting to the middle of the field for a quick tap and getting manhandled by a middle, he landed on the point of his elbows it wasn’t dangerous it was a good, clean and solid hit getting penalised and reported for tackling hard gee whiz soft I think Easts have every intention of fighting that. Radley was amazing in attack and defence how much time does he give our halves wow.
