As mentioned above, the Toops who used to get manhandled and ragdolled seems like a lifetime ago now. Been so strong now for past 3 years and is now an absolute beast. Was prone to some silly mistakes, but the only mistakes I can remember from him in the past 3 years was catching the ball then putting his foot over the touchline (got the sequence wrong) and when he let a high ball bounce that bounced up straight into his hand while protecting the famil jewels for a knock on ...2 mistakes in 3 years is not bad at all.
Lets not forget it was his perfectly executed draw and pass to Teddy which won the GF in 2019 ....plenty of players could've easily mucked that up under such big pressure !
I no longer cringe whenever he takes the ball up ..... really loving this Toops version 2.0 released in 2018.

Never a hint of drama off field, doesn't appear to be any problem for the coaching staff .... a pleasure and joy for us all to have him at our club !

I've always liked Toops and you can see he now has the self confidence in his ability. I think Fergo was really good for him and probably helped him in that regard

I don’t think he is underrated at all. I think anyone who watches the game knows he’s a great player.

I saw a poll on social media asking people to choose the best Roosters winger of all time. Toups was not even a candidate. I couldn't believe it. I think he debuted in 2012 so he has already enjoyed a lengthy career that is still going, he is 4th on our list of all time try scorers and he has won 3 premierships with us. Who has done better than Toups? For me the best Roosters winger ever. Never the most talented or fastest but just look at what he has done.

Toupo is 4th all time try scorer for the Roosters fast approaching Bill Mullins tally. I like Mullins very much but I would like to see Toupo catch him and all in front of him because records are supposed to be broken.

Just to clear it up. I meant underrated in that he should be playing rep footy more. And undervalued in terms of his price tag. Sorry I should have been clearer
