I thought that opposition players can raise their arms and keep them there, however, are not allowed to keep waving them around and jumping like a galoot. If he had missed it, was he entitled to another shot? I know the incompetent referee would have ruled play on if he had missed it, but what should be the ruling?
Commentators on fox said if flanno had missed that shot, he would of been able to take the shot again.

my gripe is in last years gf the ref ruled 6 again then obviously the bunker whispered in his ear and he changed it to 5th and last which was the correct call - BSmith drops the ball (knock on) when playing the ball and Storm levels the score with the FG - Bunker not see it or not able to over rule- storm player places the ball on the ground when getting up to play it and Storm receive a penalty from Friends touch- bunker not able to overrule? as it should have been a chooks penalty- must rise to you feet with the ball and you can put it on the ground then to play it - sure the chooks should not have let it get to this but what is the bunker doing?? - if two refs these ruck incidents would have been picked up.

Also why can't the captain challenge these- I think Friend asked and the ref said no can't challenge- what can the captain challenge then?

Players of the kicker’s team must be behind the ball when it is kicked.
Players of the team opposing the kicker shall retire to their own goal line or ten metres or more from the mark towards their own goal line and shall not make
any attempt to interfere with or distract the attention of the kicker.
They may advance after the ball has been kicked

ref would award a second kick under the above (interfere/distract) if the kicker misses.

at least 3 pulled back in the first half and the Ryan Cross try(second half) they finally awarded after 1000 video reviews - Solomona's pass to Mini in the lead up
