Looking at the tackles, we should be well rested & ready for 2012 :/

Do they count a missed tackle if the opposition runs straight around you and you don't try and tackle or get a hand on them? Could be why our missed tackles are so low, because we didn't actually try and tackle them!!

What about discipline - penalties conceded? would make for an ugly stat i assume

Not one 40/20 with a combo of Pearce/Anasta and 0.25Carney is hopeless... Im not sure Pearces game is delevoping so well, cant critisixe his effort ala Finch but expect more from him

good now that thats settled, we can finally put to bed the conspiracy of nrl referees aiming to topple us

the 2nd least amount of tackles is good, but is also linked with us making the least tackles.. which in a way is bad because they were probably missed

                Can we?

While we may have received the 4th most amount of penalties, we need to look at the penalties conceded first.

                    LOL Just playing devils advocate.

The conspiracy theory will always be around, there are too many variables like, when a penalty was given, why, by who, this person has a vendetta etc etc......

too many variables to confirm a conspiracy?

The stats of 2011; which are very damning, and I find hard for us to be able to turn them around for next year. Tries scored we finished 13th place, which is an indication that our backline is not good enough to create tries. Handling errors we finished 15th, can boil down to the coaching staff not having the players in the right frame of mind leading to poor attitude with lack of motivation and concentration and poor attention to detail! Completing sets we finished dead last 16th which is the same for what I said about our handling errors stat. Penalties conceded we finished 15th, again I refer to what I said about our handling errors stat. 40/20's kicked we were the only team along with the sharks who could not kick a single one, do they not practice these at training?? If they do than obviously they are not practicing correctly! Our skill levels seem to really let us down.

I really hope having Elliot and Fitzy on board can make a huge difference!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                        Here's looking at you, kid.
