I actually think it will be tighter than most think.
We would have been primed for Souffs for obvious reasons. Plus I think the club privately dislikes Seibold after his bitter comments when we beat Souffs late in the regular season in 2018.
There's a chance they could be a little flat this week.
Last year’s clash was close without us ever looking like losing - similar situation going into the game this year. Dogs will put in effort and hang in there in defence but won’t offer much in attack. Hopefully we keep up our commitment and intensity from last week to improve from the clash last year.
we should also be able to push away from the dogs with the faster pace of the game
Have a look at what the bookies think about this game TAB has us at $1.08 and Doggies at $8.00! Wow that’s pretty much ridiculing/mocking, and very amusing.
Angus? At lock? Why not just play aubbo at 13? Straight swap with radley in that case. Angus and Flanno are starting to build a nice combo on that right edge.
Gus has better hands and is a bigger body. Gus or Butcher, we need another fwd other than Rads who can ball play, to cover when he gets suspended, both are natural ball players and big bodies and game time practice is what is needed. It is needed to relieve pressure off Flanagan. Liu has a nice short pass, but not the ball skills of the other 2.

I'll take that if you want to give it. But it would be a stupid bet on your part, so I guess you aren't serious. We certainly have a great team, and we should win this, but the dogs played well last week, and Saints weren't that bad, they both would have beaten the Drongos. Beware the early crow. If you think we are going to win every game you are due to be disappointed, and we wouldn't be the first team to come from a huge win to a loss, take Canberra v Newcastle as a current example. Or Wests against the Titans.

Last time I remember us that that short was against a very weak sharks a few years back. We led at halftime and the sharks were out to $101 at halftime.

for the record we lost that game
2014? I remember us cruising at half time before crumbling in the second half.
