Boys, boys..there's no hard left conspiracy, what's happening around the world is a spontaneous revolted reaction to the world in which we now live. All wrapped up in the Covid disaster (millions have lost their jobs) are the frustrations of a minorities who are not safe in police custody here or in the US. This is what happens when 200 years of racism meets Donald Trump. Do decent people really want to live in a society where, after 430 Indigenous deaths in custody, there have been no convictions. That sort of thing leaves us all vulnerable.

100% JFC. Respect starts at home and unfortunately what we are seeing today is a reflection of home life. It then flows through the education systems and on to what we see now which is a generation of people who have never heard the word NO thrown at them. It’s encouaged self entitlement which has developed from it a lack of respect for anyone who disagrees with them.

My my biggest fear out of all this is that we will have a law enforcement system fearful of enforcing the law and from that no one can truely be safe. Forget race, crack some hippies and put the fear back into the people. IMO that fear should bring back the respect.

The next thing to address is making sure that the punishment fits the crime. Our courts and legal systems are far too soft which also encouages no fear for the law.

Agreed. You can’t change the past. You can learn from it but how do you learn from it and move forward by taking it away? Take a look at Hitler and the Nazis. It def started as a protest against the poor treatment of African Americans and Indigenous Australian here and you won't get an argument from me that something needs to change.

Not only that but if I got into trouble at school my parents were angry with me and I had done wrong. Now days too many times the parents are straight up to the school saying why are you picking on my child.

Failed in addressing Covid 19, failed in his response to the George Floyd murder and topped it off with tear gassing American peaceful protesters so he could get a photo in front of a church he never attends holding a bible he has never read.

What did they expect from a coward who dodged the draft to serve in Vietnam by lying about having bone spurs? Was anyone surprised when he went to the White House bunker in fear of his own people? Checkpoints inside the zone patrolled by protester armed guards.
Police report that inside the zone businesses are being "shaken down and a fee for being able to operate demanded."
Washington state is an 'open carry' state, meaning you can wear/carry guns openly.
My words; You can be a 'gunslinger' with 'tied down guns', and an assault rifle slung over your shoulder.
Woman running Seattle was shown on my tv news last night saying that "We'll be having a summer of love". [or words to that effect].
