How silly things are....couldnt we just call todays game a 'protest' and be right to roll?

Surely we can't be expected to back up vs the Eels on 4 days notice.
Tigers lost narrowly without Benji (possibly for other reasons but still - teams are playing without people in).
IMO either they play without him or it's a forfeit on their behalf if they can't tick the boxes. So typical that it's happening to us when we already have a short turn-around and woulda completely destroyed them with or without Tolman.

The right move by the NRL, in the unlikely event that he comes back positive there is a chance other Bulldog players could also have corona. Then there is a chance our players could pick it up, having 2 teams with positive results would end the game for the season.
The short turn around means nothing, the game against the dogs is just a training run and plenty of teams get a short turn around every season.
If we don't put 50 on them without getting out of first gear would be a almost like a loss, they are that bad.

BUT BUT... you test Tolman on Friday and if he's negative, there was no risk in the first place so nobody else has to be tested. Coulda been managed better.Last edited by ism22; 06-14-2020, 11:27 AM.

What a shitshow. The whole comp waiting for this chump to get his last minute test back. We had none of these dramas standing down Teddy immediately on a travel away day. And the 'biosecurity' woman at the Tigers media day laughing it off when benji kissed the reporter too.
We are too slick for this amateur hour operation. Who's next.

If it’s a positive it’s more than this game not proceeding it’s the bulldogs done for 2 week’s minimum. If it’s a negative then we just lost another days recovery, 5 for us and 8 for the eels. This is a big issue there are no easy games in the NRL and preparation can be difference to a win or loss.
