The game was very similar to last year’s GF... tough 1st half where the Roosters were the better side, the other team “appears” to come back at the start of the 2nd half but then the Roosters completely dominate in the final 20 mins (the money quarter) with multiple line breaks, easy metres and clutch plays (last year was Keary-Mitchell and was Keary-Cords last night). A champion side that steps up when it matters!

Everyone talks about how well the Morris twins are playing.. they were always great players but putting them in the Roosters structure just shows off how good they are. The Roosters system is bigger than any individual player... this is the reason why the Roosters look like they haven’t lost a thing this year despite Coops and Trell not being around.

It’s funny, a parra mate of mine texted me that parra have scored more points than any other team in the last 20 min.

No injury concerns as he was training well in the captains run..

Can only assume he has been managed due to having a massive previous 2 weeks, he was huge in our win over the Broncs and then had to back it up the following week against the dogs without JWH.

Good to hear thanks - all players fit Robbo has a bloody tough job in deciding who misses out these days. Collins won’t miss the big games this year if he keeps his current form up.

That was such a physical game and a few of our guys would be a bit wounded today, expect Robbo might rest a few next week seeing we play the Dragons.

What about Cummins trying to give Parra the penalty when Rads got hit high.... I can't remember a worse ref in the history of the comp. The guy is a joke. Shouldn't be officiating under 6's let alone 1st grade

We get a look at the other two main contenders today with Manly and Canberra clashing, albeit a wet track. Them, us and Parra look like the Top 4. Not rapt in Melbourne this year.

What a top game of footy & I thank Parra for showing up & competing with the worlds best Rugby League team for 70 minutes.
I couldn’t pick just 1 player for the Roosters who played well because the whole team played well but I must say Jake Friend is an inspiration.
I reckon he can play for another 3 years & I can’t see Verrills sticking around for that long.
