  • Who rests this week?

I wouldnt be surprised if Robbo plays down to 21 this weekend and brings in Dawg, Lam and Verrils.

Probably for Teddy, Keary and Vic.

    Lindsay back in too.

Depending on any other injuries of course.

The problem for Verrils is that Flanagan is a turnstile, and Friend is a better defender.

Most of our points originate from Teddy and Keary. They can’t both be out at once. And why give Saints a sniff.

I know you rate Lam. Can’t work out why. We wouldn’t have bought Flanagan if the club had faith in Lam. They are about the same age.

How does Friend playing or not affect Flanagan? It’s not as if they are next to one another on the field.

I think Keary plays and has a rest in a month or so against Warriors.
Teddy obviously rested along with Victor.

I don’t know if he is a turnstile, he made 31 tackles. I admit I can’t find any stats on how many he missed. Do u have the numbers to back it up?

Flanagan is hardly a turnstyle. Puts his body on the line, has a crack but gets bumped off by bigger guys which is a natural thing. Both Angus and Joey have more missed tackles than him, and Angus has one less game. Even Pearce has more missed tackles than Flanagan, and Pearce is regarded as a strong defensive half

Flanno made 31 and missed 1, as per nrl.com

                  He is NOT a turnstyle.

He puts his body on the line and has a good technique. Robbo doesn't tolerate turnstyles because in his own words, "you recruit on attack and coach defence."

As for who gets a rest, I'd say Teddy and Cords. Aubo can have a start on the left edge.

We play the Storm on another 6 day turnaround so our captain can rest up ahead of that big clash.

I wouldn't rest too many. We don't wanna take the Dragons too lightly.

We'll need to score at least a couple of tries to win given that Ben Hunt scores against us every time.

Completely disagree with this Flano turnstile bullshit. You must be confused with the other number 7 on the field last night... thats a real turnstile. I'd honestly say Flano is one of the best defensive halves in the comp, I was saying it even before he signed with us and was playing at cronulla, it was obvious he was a great defender there.

I wouldn't be surprsied if Toops doesn't play. He had a bad cork which you can play through when you're warm but can get worse after you cool down.

Its not supposed to be. More importantly, it's not a weakness either

The inside forwards need to be a tad closer to flanno to support him. The same with Verrils. They can't do both.
