The celebration around their titans game was a huge smokescreen for how far latrell has to go to be a top line fullback

What a great way to start the weekend of footy. Souths go down and Latrell plays absolutely shit house. Feels like a Roosters victory.

          Indeed.

I for one am shocked that putting a step on Jai Arrow who was defending at centre doesn't equate to Latrell being a top flight fullback.

I mean I've spent the last two weeks thinking that Latrell was now a world class fullback because he took on and overcame the might of the Titans and Warriors.

I’m not surprised at the result. To me, the Riff could go all the way this year but are looking to be playing at their peak already. We have extra gears.

that said, stuff souffs and thanks for the giggles Fatrell.

As much as we like to take the pi*s about Latrell to me it's starting to look like a sad decline. As much as I and everyone hated the way he left the club and the team that he left for, it's starting to look very unfortunate. He has talent but it's looking like a case of having too many people in his ear destroying his career. He could've stayed and had more success and probably could've had up to another decade of solidifying his legacy at the Chooks. But now thanks to a mix of factors, he's in a situation which is slowly impacting him in a negative way.

He shat in his own nest mate. He thought all his success was from his own talent, he shat on the Roosters, so fark him. He rejected $800,000 a year to play centre with the back to back premiers, who had developed him from a 16 year old,. He thought he was bigger than the club. If he continues to play at Fullback I doubt if he will ever play for NSW or Australia again, I doubt if he will still be playing first grade in 2 or 3 years unless he changes back to a centre or winger and gets a huge dose of reality. He hasn't got the brains, work ethic or fitness to play fullback.

I know he's lazy as a FB, but you mension the only way he'd continue playing 1st Grade is through the Wing or center, if he was available at a cheap price would the Roosters take him back as a winger or center? I know I would take him back so long as he takes this experience on the chin and became motivated to revive his career. It would make for a very nice comeback story!

If he came back tomorrow he'd be in reserve grade.

We're a better team with Josh Morris at centre. That left edge is like a reinforced turret in the Bondi Wall with Jmoz there. And he's all about the TEAM.

So yeah, I'd welcome Latrell back as the Bears could do with a class outside back when the NSW Cup resumes.

It would be up to Nick and Trent mate, and probably some of the senior players as well. It would surprise me if he was ever to play for the Roosters again, and he would have to do a complete 180 with his attitude. I don't think he has it in him, even though it would be the best thing for him that he could ever do. Never say never, but I think that bridge has been burned.

Penrith are a good team but a spine consisting of Cleary, Luai & Edwards isnt winning a comp

Very true. As I said it's truly a shame, it's clear that the people Latrell was associate with was people clearly influenced the events that would lead to his exit and I'm sure maybe 1 or 2 of those people were related to the Roosters. As a kid to have broken out at young age and to achieve all that he's done, it's clear that the people that he associated with saw that and told him to test his value. It's hard when you have so many people in your ear when your young and achieved a lot, there isn't many young blokes who can be mature when dealing with career decisions.

Why are Souths fans blowing up if the Broncos are trying to poach Keary from us? Why are they even blowing up about Keary at all? It's not as if he left them....Rusty kicked him out! I love Russell Crowe- he delivered us 2 premiership on platter. Keary winning the Churchill medal must have burned real hard.

Won’t happen mate. Roosters are too smart to take him back. It’s not about his footy it’s about principals and unlike Souths we have them.
