Aside from last night, Latrell's form has been steadily improving.

He’s had a couple of decent games against crap opposition. He shouldn’t be gradually improving. For the sort of money he was after he should be staring every week. Latrell is established.

Over the week i hear commentators like Matty Johns say 'Oooh Latrell is playing great and Cody walker compliments him blah blah...' WTF? They played the Titans and Warriors FFS, and the score flattered souffs! Great to see them back where they belong!

If you invited a mate over last night who didnt know anything about footy & you said to him wait till see this bloke called Latrell Mitchell, he's a superstar. Your mate would leave your house thinking superstar, yeah right. Latrell has slipped so far IMO, he is nowhere near fit enough to play FB the guy doesnt follow the ball at all & most of the time he holds his hands on his knees or he is crouched down on his haunches gassed after doing 1 run.
The worst thing that he could of done is leave the Roosters. To see him play so well for the Chooks & then to see him last night playing absolutely hopeless is actually sad.

He played many years at FB against other kids that were nowhere near as good as him but FG is a totally different beast & simply doesnt have the motor to play FG at FB.
Im a massive fan of Latrells but he is only half the player at Souths compared to how he was at the Chooks.

I think its the whole culture at Souths, this Bennett is a supercoach is just so far off the mark. The lunatics are running the asylum there & I dont how to say this without getting into trouble but they have to many Aboriginal players.

Its an accurate statement on all 3 accounts Latrell is a fantastic talent but for obvious reasons he is not performing at the vermin, many on here predicted this and unless he is persuaded to return to his best position its not going to end well.

Why would I tell a friend who knew nothing about the game that Latrell was a superstar? Whats so superstar about him right now? He made some great right to left long cut out passes to get Johnston a couple of tries against the Tits and warriors? Dufty did the same last night and he's no superstar. Latrell is finding out that most of his points in the last few years was the good work of our system and in particularly Keary. Even the flick pass he made in the GF was copied by JMoz last week with little effort. Manu's flick pass to Jared was sweet Bro!
