Stats don't tell you everything.
What is his strike rate from the sideline?
Yeah but I’m sure you would remember how Manu was having a shocker for a long while, until Cooper came on board. He’s no Cooper or Keary yet, but he’s doing fine. His defence is not perfect but getting better. Before the saints game his kicking stats were very good. He’s young and he seems to be improving in many departments. And yes the odds are that he will have a shocker now and then but as long as Robbo is behind him he can only improve.
I just like the fact he can stick to a plan and execute it well. As long as we have Kleary playing off the cuff than we don't need Flanagan to do anything out of line.
Yeah IMO that's how you make Robbo happy as a half. nothing complex - you've just gotta buy into our style/culture and do your job properly.
Wait till we have our first loss and everyone on here will want to kill him.
Yes absolutely correct! The Chookpen love to crucify the player who is wearing the number 7 jersey after a loss. No one will care he is a 21 year old with only 16 first grade games to his name.
I think he needs to build up a bit physically but he is very game in defence and has a very good tackling technique. He is sharp in attack without overplaying his role. I seen him play a fair bit for Newtown and he was very dominant. Notice whenever we make a break anywhere on the field he is always backing up- very Cronk like. Theres a lot to like about Kyle but he has long long way to go and needs time.
Please everyone this Sam Walker expectations of playing first grade this year is just ludicrous. The coaching staff at the Roosters are the best when it comes to bringing a young player through only when they are ready. Walker has a lot of hard work in front of him physically & mentally before making grade.
Best part is Flanno & Walker grew up Roosters supporters.....and that makes them Roosters juniors as far as i'm concerned!!!
I agree, both of his captains ruined his game winning efforts.
A lot of ‘other fans’ say this was a brutal but exiting game and how can their teams ever be able to compete against them.. so the captains made a mistake? Well Cordner was half knocked out when he played the ball and Friend had his hand on Finucane and he just played for the penalty who seems to have adapted to the storm culture of cheating because he did dive when they played the Knights which gave the storm a penalty to win that game too. Our boys including the captains very were good!
