Wonder if it'll do much given the lack of reserves...etc? I'd be reckoning that most clubs are going to hang onto their troops 'just incase'.

That said, the whole Warriors loan thing has been handled rather neatly (e.g. as soon as we needed a player back, they found a replacement). I suspect there could be quite a few gentlemanly/compassionate trades going on where both teams have season ending injuries in different positions. We've probably got a bit of cash up our sleeves after releasing Latrell + Cronk too...

Buzz Rothfield on radio this morning saying he spoke with Robbo yesterday & the Roosters have $400,000 in the cap to spend this year & a backup hooker is on the cards or they could bring up Freddy Lussick. Not too worried about the Lock position because we have plenty but hooker is a worry especially if Friend gets injured.

there might be other teams who are under salary cap pressure, or, by august only looking to next year, who would be happy to offload someone.
