I’m interested to understand why an intelligent supporter like you thinks Melbourne’s pack is better than ours. In my eyes both our props are better and both of second towers are superior to theirs.
Our bench despite the ACLs is still pretty strong with Lindsay, Aubo and Sitili.
Every team tries to smash Flanno and Keary. Nothing different there.
What do the rest of you think?

I do rate the Bromwich boys and Big Asofa, and Smith ofcourse, plus Finucane. The rest are workers. We have lost 3 first choice players from our pack, Jake will probably have to play the full 80. Last week was our worst performance since the comp resumed, and against St George. Melbourne are a tougher task, away. I think this is a danger game for us, and the tipping point will be if we can get through without another injury. I think it will come down to who makes the least mistakes. Cheers.

I think our A-team is better (even without Radley). However their bench beats Silly Farmer, Sitili, Collins and Maubs (as much as I hate 'em, our middle quarters have been our achilles... I can see B-Smith and Thug Solomona coming on during that spell and doing some serious damage against our B-team forwards). Never heard of the other two though... unless Tom and Tino are my old gym buddies from Gold's off Oxford St in Darlo (they always invited me out for free beers/pork knuckle at Una's followed by an all-nighter at Midnight Shift). Possibly a different Tom and Tino but you never know!
PS - reckon the Storm would release Brandon Smith before August to cover for Verrills?Last edited by ism22; 07-02-2020, 11:46 AM.

Average number of hit ups 14.7 pg
Offloads 5
Tackle breaks 3
Tackles made 154 efficiency 91.3%
JBrom-

Take into account TKO has played one less game, the gap would be even bigger.
Cords and Gus absolutely run rings around Kafausi and KBrom they kill them in all those stats.

Good starter Thirteen.
The superpowers meet again. Cant help but feel one is hanging by a thread though, and it aint us. Jarome Hughes doesnt appeal to me in the halves. NAS is overrated and has the heart the size of a pea when stood up to, like SST and others have done in the past. They need to really dominate territory to have any hope and use size and Smiths clever game managing to threaten. I think we will have our plans to counter that.
Vics a big loss and Butcher can't cover what he brings. Hes been off the pace compared to our other forwards but if fully fit can bring his own talents to the game. Be a good watch anyway.
They miss Munster and have had a messy relocation. We will be fired up and looks ours to lose. Spells trouble for the Storm.
