That penalty off the kickoff was the biggest joke I have seen

– Addo-Carr try came off an Olam knock-on in the Flanagan tackle
– The play the ball when Hughes scored was a knock on
– Hughes dropped the ball the tackle before their field goal
– The play the ball for their field goal was a knock on
– Finucane takes a dive

It was shyte but we were also shyte. We shoulda held onto our leads and we didn't...

Cordner touched the ball with his foot.
Ripped off.

We would've won the game if we hadn't made 347 mistakes.
Boys did their best, just wasn't good enough tonite.
We basically kept giving them back the ball and saying "have another turn".

The mistakes must be corrected before next week.
We can't afford to keep losing games.

Why weren't we given any set restarts when the cheats were lying in the ruck all game?

Couldn’t buy a restart... but some of the handling and unforced errors is where the defeat lies!
We almost got there despite that but not to be!
Storm came out to play!
I would have given Boyd a Rest earlier in game.

I get that we stuffed ourselves with errors, but despite that we had put ourselves in a position to win.
It's just hard to see that being stripped away through blatant cheating at the end of the game, despite not any calls going our way either throughout the game.

That penalty off the kick off was a disgrace and without that would have ensured our victory

I don't think he's a cheat. He's clearly incompetent and intimidated by Smith. To give him a game of this magnitude is a travesty.

I thought it was the worst officiating we have seen this year. The game was not allowed to flow like in other games. We only got 1 set restart for a ruck infringement and it was on tackle 1. 1 restart for markers not being square which was nice on 4th tackle.

However Melbourne and as the game grew ourselves were just allowed to flop, peel and lie all over the ruck.

Very different game to the ones we have played in post covid.

Ended up being 10 penalties to 5 which I find hard to believe, we were not twice as il-discplined as the Storm.

Just watching the final play the ball again and Bromwich has got the ball on the ground before getting to his feet.
Klein is even more of a criminal

Our average play the ball speed has been 3.3-3.4 since returning, it blew out to 3.6 in this match due to the lack of ruck policing. A faster match certainly would have benefited us but hey we kept Melbourne to 1 linebreak all night whilst still picking up 6 of our own so we really only have ourselves to blame for not winning.
