But the worse cheating was to call back a roosters try in the corner (Leilua), from a Carney pass that not only was not forward, it didn't even float forward. That would have been 14-6 to us with the conversion. Then the 2nd half, a series of no-tries that were inexplicably allowed to Merge. Plus we got 1 penalty all match. Yes there was a curse that day but it had nothing to do with Smith.

My blood still boils at the memory of the 2010 GF.
Before anybody corrects you, technically the Roosters received two penalties but the second came in the 78th minute when all was done and dusted.

I know how you feel, mate. I can't imagine losing any game of football could ever hurt as much as losing that one ... to be cheated out of it like that, and for the press -- Warren Ryan aside -- to be totally silent about it. Ugghh. It had such an effect on me that I more or less walked away from the game last year. But here I am, counting down the days till kick-off.
