we have been blessed with many good teams, but watching those raiders teams in the 90s was pretty special.

had a big pack of ice wrapped around his right knee, hopefully just precaution, he looked pretty happy in the sheds though.

          • Johns the bogan lamenting the boys not getting on the "syrup" on the flight home. Someone tell the idiot it's not 1997.

            • The missed tackles almost reflected the scoreline perfectly.

              Score
              Roosters - 42
              Cows - 16

              Missed Tackles
              Roosters - 18
              Cows - 42

Found that cool, dunno why haha

Let's not forgot, this is the same idiot who was pictured asleep on the floor at the airport while hired by us as a halves mentor...

Put it down to being tired at the time.... I didn't think so.

Got a feeling he might have a sternum injury. They were strapping that area in the sheds and I know from personal experience that sort of injury takes away a lot of your power.

                          3 to 4 weeks for a broken rib - round 10 or 11

                          • We regathered our composure after a shaky start.

Most pleasing aspect for me was the boys who got more opportunity like Ikuvalu, Toupinua and Lam all stood up.

Biggest shout outs to Ikuvalu for playing such a polished game with no footy under the belt, and not even expecting to play.

And Lam playing an unfamiliar position well and tackling himself to a standstill. Must have worked hard on fitness as no footy since the Nines.

Then the class of Teddy , Keary and SST did the job.

yeh a sternum - bruised - usually 3 to 4 weeks recovery if you don't play that is - will have to be managed going forward
