  • Solid victory tonight very pleased with Flanagan Lam and Ikuvalu's performances tonight bring on Canberra at the ECG

    • Iku's and Lam's fitness, without any game time since the Nines, truly is a testament to our training methods and structures. It really speaks volumes to what Robbo and the coaching staff are doing at our club. It is what makes champions and a championship team.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

        • Loved Iku, Collins, Lam, Faarma , Sitili, Aubs, great backups. The Ref was an absolute disgrace, we should have won by 50. Teddy and Keary are all class.

100% agree, this side is great, but 74/75 were absolutely brilliant. Speed to burn with Fairfax, Mullins, Harris Brass and Schubert.

              • We didn't have a single player with 100 kicking metres tonight. That must be quite rare.

We spent the first half making errors and the second half scoring trys.

                That'd explain why.

It was proven tonight. Joey was able to shine with Aubo running the right lines. Jmoz did he play tonight?

Thurston shares a brain with Andrew Johns, Blocker and Tallis. They have a quarter each.

The left side was quiet all night since they didn’t receive much ball.

Yeah while Ikuvalu was amazing, I think part of his success came down to the fact Valentine Holmes went off injured and they had Ben Hampton (some random half from back when I used to play NRL Fantasy). He's pretty tiny, isn't a winger and got caught out massively.

Ikuvalu pulled off some freakish tries too... a real credit to our development systems! I guess training against Morris (Australia x 2), Toops (Tonga & NSW), Manu (NZ), Tesesco (Australia), Hall (England), [Latrell] (Australia)...etc for a spot in the outside backs is as good as playing rep footy every week.

                          • Good result not concerned about the 16 points conceded ( no need to whip the boys just yet) it was about going back to basics solid victory in the end, need more improvement for the week ahead, however, we are AT LAST back home at the ECG!

Sitting in the top 4 pending the Knights result, a good position to be in now if we can just get through the next month without injuries and at least 3 victories we can then setup our run into the finals and getting some troops back.

                            • Good win good effort by a patched up side.
                              We played a shit side
we played shitty first half ..combos werent coming off that improved second half.
It was ok considering by a stage we can see say 8 first graders were out injured no other club could do what we do.
Sunset sam is destined to never score a try.
I liked Farmas work rate looked busy and the lout Lindsy Collins was enormous again and developing a game and head likened to Burgess..its true I tell you.
Lammy looked sharp ....he may of found his niche, his zippyness around the new rucks was real good.
Big game against Canberra coming up I see this as an important one where the reggie players have got to cement their spots and give value to the the team.
