Haven’t really been following it but it caught my eye today that SST didn’t get a single point for his efforts against the Cowboys! Seriously !!!! What more could he have done?
I realise in a team like ours where there are multiple players that stand out and take points from each other and make it difficult for an individual to stand out week in week out, hence Tedesco didn’t poll any points either. But SST’s effort with JWH rested for most of the game was the standout performance of the night ( in my opinion).

Yeah he was the man. Shows the judges may not really pay too much attention to the details of the game. Not wishing to decry previous winners but its a hit and miss old system.

Only spotlight players tend to get recognised.

Who scored the points? SST was MOTM on ch9 and Tedesco had a hand in everything, I’m assuming keary, iku and? Got points?

Crighton got 2 points. Errors must count as a positive input.

I'm embarrassed for whoever decided Crichton deserved two points

Could be that NRL embarrassed that the no.1 prop JT got upstaged by SST

I had SST as our best in that game , it's always the front rowers who never receive the accolades they deserve. He has been outstanding for us the last few years and just keeps getting better. I've got no doubt we have the best one-two punch with our two props in the game.

Well, JT is a lock, not a prop, and he did run for more metres in less minutes than SST, but sure, let's go with that.

iku played great and i'm happy for him that he got the 3pts. sometimes the judges like to reward point scoring. i think i'm right in saying freddy never got a soo motm - there was one game where he killed it but the judges gave it ryan girdler who had a perfect night with the boot.

SST led from the front once again, showed why he’s the best prop in the NRL. Even when JWH is playing limited minutes, we don’t lose too much because of SST’s efforts.

If Collins keeps going the way he is we will have the best one two three

I wouldn't rank forwards performances based on running metres. A lot more to it than that.

Lolo makes so many runs because Josh McGuire is the only other forward the Cowboys have that is worth feeding. Robbo has always employed a shared approach to the input of our forward pack.

Using the eye test, SST totally outplayed Lolo (due in much part to playing on a significantly better team of course). But it was his LB and try assist to Sitili just before HT that broke the game open.
