Don’t forget their blatant knock on in the strip on Ikavalu which lead directly to Papalli’s try.

Robbo will be absolutely filthy.

At least against Melbourne we defended well for 72 minutes. Some really soft tries up the middle tonight.

We didn't take advantage of all the ball we had in the first half.
Then 50% completions second half killed us.
That first try of theirs in the 2nd half of that weak penalty put us a bit on the back foot and gave them a lift.

Canberra slowed the game down so much. Was expecting a super fast game and was excited to see it live with the new rule but it was so slow. So many stoppages. Doesn’t suit our style. We couldn’t get momentum.

Raiders had a 5 day turnaround. We had a week. Can’t blame tiredness.

Lindsay, Jake and Joey were my standout disappointments tonight, but others like Teddy were quiet as well. It is a bitter pill to swallow. Only surpassed by losing to the Rabble I think.

If anything had Easts won tonight all those mistakes, soft defensive efforts and handling errors probably would be glossed over.... so hopefully the boys think long and hard about this performance for the next 9 days and ensure they don't put in this sub par effort again.

We should of won that. I really think that forward pass was a try. But we didn’t deserve to win. 53% completion rate in the second half is terrible.
I can’t fault Ikuvalu too hard, he is just a fill in. He did pretty much what he had to do.
Collins probably just should of stayed home.
Flanno was solid.
I really love Aubo but he is way past it. The quickness of the game is getting to him. He used to run great quick lines but kind of just gets caught now.
He will be replaced by Butcher. I love Aubs but sometimes age gets to you.

Now on to Friend.
im actually super disappointed in him. He got caught napping when Williams scores along with Collins. His lateral defence has gone backwards fast. I think all that tackling has caught up to him. And seriously I know he isn’t available but Verrils is miles ahead. He can still pass a good ball but he just can’t seem to get in to position. He got caught out a couple of weeks ago and now again. I hold him in the highest regard that’s why I’m so disappointed. He should be better.

Fair point. We copped a couple of crucial howlers but overall it was a sub standard dig from us. It would have papered over the cracks tonight. It should make us stronger.
