    How was that?
I’d argue it was a significant detail, your argument centred around this being a noticeable trend.

    I disagree.

    • Lazy, passive, blas?. We'll be back but some worrying signs of late.

Taking comfort in the fact that Robbo is a master of the long game. There were no rings handed out tonight, we'll be right when it matters.

They played better than our players did.

They have a tough draw in the second half of the season and no easy games in reality - Warriors/\Titans/Dragons/Storm/Wests Tigers/Broncos/Raiders/Knights/Sharks/Rabbitohs -

There are 7 games there that if we are contenders, we should lose, but I thought that tonight also.

not good, but the timing is probably perfect for the upcoming opposition.

                    • Im pissed off as we returned to our new spiritual home at the SCG and surrended it to the pretenders.

We forgot the angles and played like newbies there.

Had ice on his knee on the bench but I think along with Friend and Collins was on the pine through a poor performance. He gives away far too many 6 agains by hanging on too long in the tackle because he used to get away with that at Souths but gets pinged for it with us. He has to cut that out of his game and his late penalty on Wighton ultimately cost us a try and let the Raiders back in it. I thought he was lucky to get the penalty when he elbowed papalli in the face, time to pull his head in.

                        • I think tonight showed that in our structure and the way that we like to attack, playing a big powerful running middle forward is not the go.

We were too hit up happy because we had JWH, Collins & SST on the field and geez didn’t they look clunky and slow at trying to distribute the ball to the edges. I think it’s crucial if we’re going to have a dummy half like Friend that there’s someone in that middle field who can lift the tempo when it’s needed. I think Butcher is the man to do it but I would be open to giving Crichton a crack also and letting Aubs shift back to that right edge.

We lost that game between the 15-30 minute mark where we absolutely dominated field position and possession but struggled badly to put points on the board, it was so uncharacteristic. I’ve never seen us take so many hit ups in good ball in a long long time, our attack was so one paced and when our key players were getting the ball there was no space for them to take advantage.

Disappointing night but the signs have been there the last 3 weeks, 20+ points conceded against a Melbourne side without Cam Munster, 16 points conceded against the bloody Cowboys... and then again another 20+ points put on us by a side missing their best attacking player.

I imagine the attack will be the last thing on Robbo’s mind at the moment. Time to start laying some bricks back in that Bondi wall.

that is an ongoing concern the number of tries through the middle - raiders went wide then back through the middle - the defence didn't adjust and was lazy adjusting too - lots of arm grabs and your tackle- the Papalli try I though must have been an obstruction it was way too easy - it wasn't - he went straight through untouched and the chook players just stood there and looked at each other. Really missing Radley in both attack and defence

                            • One of the worst games the Roosters have ever played as far as own goals go.
