  • Make JWH priority

This guy has to become our forward leader, forget Kennedy (although he is a gun) JWH must stay. He is the pick of our forwards

A lot on here like noyce.

But I believe that he's asleep at the wheel when it comes to a couple of our players who are off contract this year.

I love both Tasi & JWH..

If it came down to a choice of the 2 i would take Tasi all day..

        Tasi reminds me of Beetso..

Talents like him win you comps..

Im probably not completely sold on him. If they can get him to play with more aggression, I'd like to see the Roosters keep him.

Tasi is in the same boat. The 1 x big hit hightlight package needs to be done weekly.

At the end of the day they are both rookies really, would they have played 50 FG games between them?
But with no experienced or senior props in the club they are going to have to really stand up so the team go's forward.

Cordner is the priority, he should be signed by now or hopefully very close to.

We've got enough depth and quality in the front row to cover the loss of JWH. Cordner is the only tight running second rower we have and he's got the quality to become a top player.

Add Guerra to that list, he is our only hole running forward, scored plenty of tries close to the line last season and will score plenty more with good ball from his inside men.

Cordner is very good but Tasi is the absolute keeper of the young brigade...

Tasi is an absolute gun. makes me so happy that we've been able to re-sign him

JWH played very well last season, seemingly when our pack needed direction.

Wouldn't say he's the only hole running forward (Maubs & Symonds) but he's the only one who's well rounded in that he can play in tight, run great overs and unders, run wide and has a great work rate. Reminds me a lot of a Ben Creagh/Ryan Hoffman/Simon Mannering type player not that he's as proven as those mentioned though. Just needs to work on his defence, leaves a little to be desired.

Although he only received a 1 year contract last season which was a bit disappointing... he might be the one making way for Anasta's return into the backrow or SBW's arrival. I hope not.

Tasi isn't off contract... not that it's no reason to start negotiations now mind you. But Cordner has to be priority 1.

JWH, Cordner, Guerra... they're all talented.

But there is no hotter prospect in the NRL right now than Lama Tasi.

He should be top priority by a long, long way.

                            Without a doubt.

I dont know any of the financial side of things at the Roosters but IMO they have to offer this guy at least 1/2 of what they offered SBW. if they dont re sign him we will be watching him representing Australia playing for Newcastle.

To me the biggest priorities are Lama Tasi followed by Cordner. We must retain both. Tasi is an absolute must and I would almost put Cordner in that bracket too. The only thing against him is his injury history. I love what JWH brings to the team but I wouldn't put him ahead of the other two I've mentioned.
