It would be a shame to loose him now , I can see him really kicking on now.

Love his aggression, we will regret letting him go..,

      Without a doubt.

I dont know any of the financial side of things at the Roosters but IMO they have to offer this guy at least 1/2 of what they offered SBW. if they dont re sign him we will be watching him representing Australia playing for Newcastle.
That would be dreadful cap management.. That would still be the sort of money rep players would be on. To offer that to Cordner means the bar has to be raised for the rest of the squad.

If the horrific debacle of signing Cat Steven's younger, less talented brother from Yawnion turns out to be untrue and Braith Anasta finally pisses off next year then we should have some money to keep some of the players in our squad who are actually worth the money.

I pray to my God, the God of Megan Gale's backside, Kevin Hasting's right boot and Batman comics from 1939 to 1986 (not the suicide bomber praising, clitorectomy allowing, fatweh on Salman Rushdie sanctioning one) that we don't sign that cap drain and get rid of his dog turd mate.

Jibbering as usual. What was Aubbo in 2010 if not a hole running forward then?

How is it people on this site always rate "potential" over proven commodities? JWH has the talent to be one of the best props in the comp this year and at such a young age!

Has the talent to be..... sounds like potential.

He certainly is more proven as he is already an international

im sorry but kennedy shits on JWH.
Yeah he's big and strong blah blah blah, but kennedy does a lot more work then him. JWH has disiplane problems and gets lazy.
Now mose is a must keep, one of the hardest guys to tackle and runs it hard 80% of the time

You criticise JWH's workrate but give Mose wraps?

I'm a big Mose fan, but he needs to make those barnstorming runs at least once a set to be effective. And he needs to get way better in terms of defensive lateral movement.

I thought JWH really picked up his workrate in 2011, and was one of our few tireless forwards.

mose will improve his defence and his fitness too, once he gets more minutes you'll see how destructive he can be. If mose does this and JWH fixes his disiplane/errors, and lazyness, id still pick mose over him. When i first saw mose play i always thought he's gonna be the next civinoceva but only time will tell. I wouldnt trust jwh being a prop when we have better options, kennedy/tasi/mose. Id keep jwh in 2nd row, definently not prop

I would play Heargraves in the backrow as well.

Your claims about his ill-discipline are justifiable, but there is nothing to suggest laziness. Looking through stats, he was one of our harder-working and committed forwards, in terms of both defence and attack.

JWH is many things but lazy isn't one of them, his work rate really improved and will only get better. Comparing him to Mose or Kennedy is pointless as they offer different things

One thing is evident - there are LOTS of good young forwards coming through and competition will be hot. The Roosters management are going to have a tough time picking who to keep and who to let go - particulary if SBW comes on board.

Mose, JWH, Cordner, Tasi, Evans, Cordner, Maubs, Taka, Guerra, Kennedy, Bosden - and possibly Cherro, Symonds and BJ.

                                Kennedy > JWH
Man I don't want SBW and "the next Sonny Bill" in the same team. Much prefer guys like Kennedy who come without hype, work their guts off to make the cut then end up being seen as potential rep candidates.

IMO JWH would be a LOT better if there was no initial hype surrounding him. He was too young/cr@p when first selected for NZ (a decision made purely so he wouldn't play for Australia) now I think he needs to buckle down and prove his worth. He's good and I say we keep him (there aren't too many clubs interested in him anyway)... he's nowhere near our best forward. Solid... but won't go down in the history books unless he improves significantly.
