I am happy with that line up, if it stays that way.
I would have been okay if Farmer got the last bench spot. While he is not a world beater, he has not really done anything wrong either to disqualify himself.
Looking forward to a big rebound from the boys this week.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

We "never" win at Gosford no matter who the opposition is.
I'll believe we won this game when we actually win it.
Raining, sloshing around with wet hands, wet ground, wet ball...best of luck to us.
Hope we've mastered short passes with soft hands.

Collins well ahead of him IMO. Farmer is also limited to front row, where butch is more of a second row/lock fill in.
currently our front row is covered well by a rotation of JWH, Tauks, Collins and Liu ...then Farmer.
He would be aiming for that bench spot once JWH retires and Collins starts at prop, but for now he is a bit like Collins the last few years being that fill in Prop when injury strikes (which all good teams need). Hope he can development - if he doesn’t and or runs out of the patience waiting for a consistent spot I think may chase a deal somewhere else where he can get more game time (like he did at the warriors)
Robbo seems to want to hold to him despite interest elsewhere so he must think there is something of worth there
He's that Sam Moa / Zane Tetevano type build who you really just want to come in and see hit the line fast and hard and I'm sure that's the role Robbo wants him to play. Doesn't need to have a lot of carries but he needs to by physically dominant in the work that he does get through and he just hasn't impressed to date.
Turned 24 earlier this year so this is really his make or break year at least at the Roosters any way I suspect. Daniel Fifita seems to be climbing up the ranks extremely quickly and seems the more likely to carry that physical dominance from the lower grades into the top grade.
I'm surprised Egan Butcher isn't around the squad with the injuries to Radley & Cricthon. Edge backrower who's covered in at lock before.

Now kicks over the top of the FB defending in the line are fashionable again...Moses.
Kick over the top, regather, score under the posts...6 points to win the match...too easy...we should be doing that. 3 of those and it's 18-0 to us...or the opposition, whoever is doing it.Last edited by bondi.boy; 07-25-2020, 08:15 AM.
