Damn....outside of RTS these guys have got nothing doing in attack. Only the Bulldogs are worse according to the stats, and not by much.

I'd expect us to keep them in single figures. I'm predicting something to the effect of 30-6.

Good to see Liu back. Massively underrated middle forward.

I haven't seen Faamausili play much. Any thoughts on how far he is off a regular start? Does he offer more than Collins or Butcher in the middle? Is he the long term succession plan for JWH? Or is he destined to end up at another club?

I get the warriors are trash, but also a sob story atm. Ref will be giving them everything as we've seen it happen against us the last month at least. Cant see us losing, but id like to see us defend everything they've got.

That might not be much. Time to brick up the wall.

The Warriors’ back three is their main threat, nullify them and that’s game over. We should have way too many points for them. As much as I’d like to see 60-0, a solid win with no injuries would be good.

Looks like it will be rain affected and, given our current ball control issues, I think this game won't be the walk in the park like some on here suggest.

wot? no sbw in the side?
i've got no idea how it will play out on sat. sometimes i say i have an idea but that's only because everyone else thinks they have an idea and i feel like it's bad form to hedge. truth is i never really know what's going to happen. this week particularly.
we're a class act and you'd figure we'll come good at some stage.

The Tuesday team means SFA. The only thing I take
from this is that despite numerous rumors, young Freddy won’t be playing.

Agreed. Isn't how it worked for us in 2009 but I feel that always happens... refs figure we will cope so give lacklustre oppositions free penalties + priority on 50:50's.

Doesn't bother me too much because they're the ones who lose out. They'll come out of it thinking they're improving + have over-achieved (then their completions will magically go down from 100% to 60% the next week). Whereas Robbo will improve us coz we'll win and he'll say 'I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE 50:50'S... YOU DIDN'T MAKE YOUR TACKLES... NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!'

Butcher back, Crichton out, Ikuvalu remains on the wing rather than Hall.

IMO you can bank on all that. Not a lot of changes. We did alright last week given OUR injuries...etc. Just need to defend better and build some momentum.

I can’t really see any late changes this week unless Hall is given a go (for some reason, maybe if one of the Morris bros pulls up short) - or a forward is rested and Farmer comes in

both unlikely but Robbo seems keen to rest players if any minor injury or complaint happens midweek

I think Farmer is a solid fill in but needs more development - just missing something to make him noticeable.

Collins well ahead of him IMO. Farmer is also limited to front row, where butch is more of a second row/lock fill in.

currently our front row is covered well by a rotation of JWH, Tauks, Collins and Liu ...then Farmer.

He would be aiming for that bench spot once JWH retires and Collins starts at prop, but for now he is a bit like Collins the last few years being that fill in Prop when injury strikes (which all good teams need). Hope he can development - if he doesn’t and or runs out of the patience waiting for a consistent spot I think may chase a deal somewhere else where he can get more game time (like he did at the warriors)

Robbo seems to want to hold to him despite interest elsewhere so he must think there is something of worth there

I’ve got a new name for them - Ladder Changers. Because that’s what happens when you play them. One minute you behind the team in front of you on the ladder by 32 points. After playing The Warriors you have moved up a spot.

I wonder which teams get them twice?

I also hope its not a 50 something blow out but I think it will be.
