That's awesome, will do his mental recovery the world of good to be out on the pitch again.

No Robbo has said they will take their time with his rehab because its not his first ACL.

Is he going to be a champion or will he play 10 or so FG games & fade away?
We all just have to wait & see what pans out for Billy Smith.

Can only imagine what it's like doing rehab under these circumstances ay! Good to see he's doing well.

                Absolutely, could only imagine..

The isolation factor alone during a difficult period of his career and life..

There's been many youngsters who have had the world at their feet, only to suffer a serious set back.. lapse into depression, self doubt.. mental instability and take their outcome into their own hands....

Not Smith, not at the roosters.

This is more than a club, this is a family!

Bit dramatic.. but I suffer from a chronic health disorder.. one that will never leave.. I know the mental battle associated..

it's why you don't offer stupid overs for people who have not yet played fg .

in hindsight who would you take over Mitch aubbo or Anthony tupou? I'd take aubbo everyday of the week despite having nowhere near the talent of tupou.

need to compare oranges with oranges - maubs a back rower and toops a winger though

haha, he's talking about anthony tupou. i was gutted when he went. had so much talent. oh well, at least it meant we could secure willie mason.

I remember when he was signed (AT) -still playing for the Knights in under 21's or 20" - mmm he was a rather big unit to say the least - could only play short stints - they must have flogged him during the offseason and changed his diet as he was significantly slimmer when turning out for the chooks the next season(2004)

                          Exactly right.

Teddy had two ACLs as well, and he has turned out okay.

Good and careful management is the order of the day.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
