It was an ugly win, but we will take it.
A lot to work on for Robbo and co this week.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

That was a lucky escape
credit to the warriors - they played a very solid game of footy, didnt do much wrong. Extremely brave in their circumstances
roosters looked lame most of that game and couldn’t gain momentum. I think with injuries we lack those that bend the line back which allows our attacking players to shine
missing players like toops, cordner, radley, Crichton really shows at times like that when we need to get back into a game
keary really stepped up
the only ones who looked to bend the line back tonight was sitili, Tauks and butcher/Collins in small phases. Jared only when fired up. I thought Lam made an impact too from the bench with some good tempo. Teddy worked hard but had little given to him

As mentioned we should have had 20 odd set restarts. No coincidence the game was close when refereed like that.
We just need to battle through this tough period and keep racking up the wins, no matter how ugly.
We still won and it was good training coz I don't expect the refs to be any less shyte next week. We're at our best when the refs pull the wool over everybody's eyes and we still come up with the lollies! (Even with Cords, Gussie, Toops, Radley, Verrills and Smith injured - by far the biggest and most significant injury toll in the comp).
Titans next week. IMO if we can win all the games we 'should win', we will finish top 4 + SBW will arrive just in time to rev us up for a premiership.
PS - I reckon SBW's gonna (legally) knock the bejeezus outta Cam Smith in a GF, forcing him from the field (into retirement) and sealing the deal for us. We sent Cockroach out a loser (and Smith - he was gonna retire in 2018... then 2019 but thinks he deserves to go out with a premiership). Let's do it to Smith a second third time! Can't keep delaying your retirement, mate.Last edited by ism22; 07-25-2020, 06:10 PM.
