Teddy and JWH tried very hard and as Robbo said, played themselves into the game. However, they weren't as influential IMO. Keary basically had the ball on a string and locked the Warriors outta the game. If he hadn't forced all those repeat sets, there's a chance we woulda cracked under pressure.

Terrible game and we only just got over the line against a struggling team. We look busted and gassed at the moment , JWH and Jake need a rest they are well below par and need a week off.
Chris Sutton was mainly a touchie when there were two refs yet has managed to get a gig when they have cut the number in half thanks to his brother running the show.
Gus mentioned on the Monday night footy show a couple of weeks ago that he could fix the refs up in 5 minutes, he said there's some good young refs but there's an element that is controlling the ranks that he would sack.
Blind Freddie can see the Sutton regime is running the referee ranks you don't have to be Billy Fields to know that.
I think we're in a bit of bother at the moment and the injuries have caught up with us, the boys are trying but they look flat.

Getting towards the end of the game, take the 2, go 10 ahead, get the ball back, attack and make them keep tackling.
Possession is everything.

Just need to get through the next two games unscathed.
Then we can beat the Storm. After that it's the Tigers and Broncos.
Should be looking at 10 points during this period (Warriors, Titans, Steelers, Storm, Tigers and Broncos).
Plenty of "training knocks" coming up.Last edited by Vasco; 07-26-2020, 07:24 AM.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Why would a winger who scored 5 tries on his preferred right side be back on the left wing the next couple of games? Ikuvalu looks a little lost on the left. I'd play him on the right. Don't change the team too much when it wins well. Put B. Morris on the left with his brother. Young Flanno needs to show and go and support players need to get a little deeper in attack.Sickie Lame .... King of Bestiality

Did that really happen as reported?
If so, Hetherington must have crossed a line with his talk. Unlike JWH.#We Stand with ourJewish community#
