Agree Hutch would be worse than Hall. Hutch is rubbish whenever he played last year our attack was pedestrian. Hall I have felt sorry for - can’t bag a try - his carries out of our own end are great - there is value there. He is safe under the highball. But it stops there doesn’t it. Can’t make a break - can’t get himself into a position to make a break - can’t turn and tackle. His defensive deficiencies are the biggest issue - gets caught infield and has no hope to turn and cover successfully.

I wanted him to do well but I think i have now given up - I think we are forced to continue with him until we get some troops back unfortunately.

        Ridiculous comment!

He scored 232 tries for Leeds. He's 32 and it does look like he hasn't fully recovered from his injury, but he has don't little wrong and on Saturday he had a friggin' second row forward/prop inside him! Multiple times the ball came to him on the bounce, behind him or thrown forward to him! Would've scored one or two tries if Morris had have been there, and he brings up the ball from our own end consistently. Teddy's about the only one making breaks at the moment, too. You think Fergo's crap at Parra because he hasn't scored any tries?

Who gives a crap how many tries he scored at Leeds or wherever , he plays for the Roosters now and his job is to score tries and stay on his wing in defence , neither of which he does .He may be the best we have left at the moment but that doesn't make it good

This from someone who said Perenara would be best on field for Titans before the game had started. Intelligent, thoughtful and very grown up.

That's the part I responded to , people on here and not suggesting you want us to drop a club legend in Jake because of average form , years of dedicated service but when some of us don't support a so called Super league legend we are shot down and berated because apparently we don't support a neville that happens to don the Red white and blue and didn't live up to the hype , because of injury or age I still don't care , he isn't good enough to be a Rooster , again not suggesting that is your thoughts of Jake

Is that his job though? Yes a traditional winger just walks along the sideline, stands outside the centre and waits for ball... occasionally pausing to pull their socks up.

A Robbo winger though? Maaate... this guy is running 200m a game!!! My observation on Saturday was:
                        - He was not standing outside Sitili in attack (like totes... nobody was outside Sitili most of the time and I doubt that was unintentional). He was running into the middle, actively calling for the ball and punching it through the centre of their forward pack. You don't do that in order to score tries... you do it to create an overlap down the middle, make hard earned metres, take pressure off JWH/SST's legs (we are thin on forwards + can't afford injuries/suspensions to them!!!) and set your team up with good field position.
                        - He's 'invisible' like a forward. Watching the game you don't see anything impressive from him in attack until you check-out his metres. You don't run 200m a game on average by slacking around... particularly when almost 1/2 of them are PCM.
                        - He missed one tackle and made one error. That's not great and he's got room for improvement in defence. However, he hasn't played a lot of NRL and experience will undoubtedly make him a better player.
                        - Half our fukking team was out. Most importantly, the attitude and belief were there. If you wanna get technical... Manu is the one who 'stuffed' our game by letting the gap close to within 1 try when we coulda locked 'em out instead. Do we sack Manu for that or do we forgive him because other than that he was a 10/10? People make mistakes but overall we're doing the right stuff IMO...

While I have no inside knowledge, I'm pretty confident that Robbo's instructed Hall to hit balls up the middle of the field. He won't score as many tries like this, but we'll make more metres and win more games. I know which one I prefer!

I actually said winger should organise the defence along with the fullback , what they do in attack a totally different conversation . Many on here have said they feel he has had plenty of opportunities to score but hasn't which is not what I care about . My point is he is simply not up to Nrl standard .,. Sorry Roosters standards
