I agree with the majority sentiment in this thread.

We should always set out to win, no matter what the circumstances are.

Let the behaviour associated with 'tanking' be reserved for certain AFL clubs. That sort of thing is not in the Roosters' DNA.
    MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Hopefully Cordner, Crighton and both Morris's are back. How far away is Tupou?

Ludicrous suggestion. We are the Roosters we don’t sacrifice games. That is a give up mentality. That mentality won’t win you anything.

          2 + 0 = 2

Give everyone that needs a break against the Storm and hopefully start fresh the week after with a few troops back.

JWH, Friend, Keary, SST. Give them all a break.
You don’t win Back2back premierships with a defeatist attitude Buddy, have a little more faith in Robbo and the playing group, cast your mind back to early 2019 when we beat Melbourne 21-20 in golden point with 5 debutants, we are the team that Melbourne want to avoid and for that matter everybody else wants to avoid, sure Storm and Raiders got away with last ditch wins against a half strength team, it’s not concerning in the slightest.

Nope try again. Still doesn’t explain why the 2 points against the dragons are more important than the 2 against the storm

This suggestion is ludicrous, not in the Roosters DNA.

If some of the experienced players need a rest because they are physically tired, why not give them the week off training? Would make more sense than flogging them at training just to sit out the game. Wou'd think the players would prefer that. Just my opinion.

Sounds like this happened before the Warriors game. I'm sure it will happen again.

Robbo has previously risked points by resting players at this time of year. Resting an uninjured Teddy and losing to Cowboys comes to mind.

OK I think Cam Smith just got a shoulder injury and may be out a couple...then again he's such a great immortal, he might do one better than Cooper for our game...Stay Tuned!
