Even without our injured brigade, Roosters by 18.
Teddy to have a massive game as the Dragons defence has more holes than swiss cheese.

Although I think he is coming along nicely I really feel his lack of running game is affecting our attack which is in turn stifling Keary and Tedesco when we have the ball.
Although I’m sure Robbo has instructed Flanno to concentrate on the one percenters at the moment, I feel running with the ball isn’t one of his strengths which will hurt us moving forward..
His defence and kicking and passing game are coming along well, but we need him taking on the line more regularly to take the pressure off our main weapons..
Just my thoughts
I reckon he's playing to TRobbo's instructions/strategy.
Playing simple i.e getting good positional kicks on the last tackle and distributing the ball to Teddy and Keary enabling them to do the creative stuff.
Kyle's creative involvement will come with time and more 1st grade experience perhaps next year ??

I must subconsciously hate close games. Too stressful.
Nothing like a 24nil H/T scoreline. Makes for a great second half.
The week after we play the Storm, and if Smith is missing I'll say Roosters by 1

Would like to see him take it on more - totally agree - also like to see him support the ball runner more as well. No one seems to be doing that in the side ATM. I think it’s Robbos instruction though as we had three games in a row where our handling was appalling so we have dumbed it right down whilst we are down on troops and talent to win ugly and boring. It’s working I suppose as we are collecting the two points but it is excruciating to watch isn’t it.
I think when we get some troops back we as a whole and Flanno will start playing a more expansive game again.

Hopefully in the meantime we keep winning games and cement a top 4 spot to give ourselves a teal crack at the three peat..

I’m also hoping that Trent wants Kyle to be on the other team’s tip sheet as ‘doesn’t run the ball’ and then bang.. he does...it’ll be interesting to see

Most of the under performers are now running themselves into competitiveness and injuries all over the shop have also leveled out the comp. The Chooks, with so many replacements, were nothing spectacular in the recent starts and that brittleness on Flannigan's side on Saturday was alarming. The Dragons have some very sharp outside backs and will be motivated. I see it as a very even prospect despite their recent capitulations.
