Why do so many people think Toups is imminently back? From what I have heard and read except from various posters on here he is still 3/4 weeks away

My favourite MA memory was....... I think it was his debut season in 2007 when we played the tigers and he ran 90 metres to score a try but during the run he fended away a couple of tigers players to score in the corner.....or that's how I remember it anyway.

Anyone else remember this try?

I remember it well. Always been one of my favourite tries. It was in 2008 on a Monday night and he actually only fended away one player, but multiple times. The Tigers player was Mat Head and Aubo was running backwards for a good 20 or 30 metres palming him away before Head eventually fell over. Aubo then finally turned around to face their line and ran the last 50 or 60 metres to score. Great memories. There was a torrential downpour in the middle of that game and I think Aubo's try might have been shortly after that happened.

You've never given the club a publicity black eye as others (cough, pearce, cough) have done. You make me proud to support the mighty Roosters. An absolute credit to our club and sport, and it is criminal that he has never got an origin jersey throughout his entire career. Especially when you consider some of the complete ****wits that took up backrow and bench spots in his place.

on and off the field with a team first attitude , he's a victim of his own versatility and is a very underrated player who never has a bad game.

How fitting, Rads probably the youngest prospect to be a future one-club legend. Even better - a local junior.

Probably won't break the appearances record though unless he learns how to not keep putting his body on the line. But we love him even more for that I guess.

What a special, special achievement Mr Fixit you have been a wonderful servant of this great club and a perfect example of what it means to be a Rooster on and off the field, never settled in one position played where he was asked to and never complained, stuck around on less money then what he would have been paid anywhere else you’re an Easts Legend four grand finals three rings to boot not bad.

Huge congrats to MAubs, it's a wonderful achievement and as many have stated he is not only an on-field legend, but a humble and champion bloke as well. You have to wonder what he might have achieved if he was allowed to concentrate on one position and develop his skills exclusively in that domain. I like the comparison to Flanno, although he was rewarded with a Maroon jersey.
