  • Mitchell Aubusson game #300

What a special, special achievement Mr Fixit you have been a wonderful servant of this great club and a perfect example of what it means to be a Rooster on and off the field, never settled in one position played where he was asked to and never complained, stuck around on less money then what he would have been paid anywhere else you’re an Easts Legend four grand finals three rings to boot not bad.
(Provided you get through the week unscathed)

    Congratulations Maubs!

A champion Rooster. Always approachable and as stated, could have left to chase more coin on multiple occasions.

Mini is my all time favourite, but very happy to see maubs take the most capped title for the chooks.

Will never forget his performance in the 2018 Grand Final.

Outstanding. Thanks for the memories mate.

      GO EASTS.

Shame we can’t rest him and let him play his 300th at the SCG v Melbourne. That would give the players extra incentive too. Too many injuries for this luxury.

i think he debuted at 5/8. you probably wouldn't have picked him to be a 300+ first grader at that stage. a testament to his adaptability as much as his talent. selfless, always wanted to do what was best of the team. ultimate club man.

You guys have summed up Aubo pretty well. What a terrific human being to have at our wonderful club.

Congrats to Maubs!!! I sometimes feel sorry for the guy because his consistency and versatility seems to get him branded as a bit of a 'jack of all trades, master of none' when he's actually done some pretty incredible stuff over the years. Doubt he's see it that way or be disappointed but I still think it's easy to gloss over his achievements as a player.

Aubo has done everything in his 300 game career. Winning a grand final as a number 7 sums it up. Wish I could be there to see the game live.

An absolute huge congratulations to 'Aubo' on this very fine achievement. It is most fitting for such a loyal servant to our organisation - one that perfectly sums up our club's ideals and what it looks like and means to be a Rooster. The ultimate gentleman and fine one club player - a truly fantastic milestone.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Fantastic achievement by a great clubman. He reminds me of Chris Flanagan in that he was so versatile and could cover so many different positions and do a great job for the team.
Never sold a teammate the dump , runs great lines and a hard hitting defender who never stops working. I consider him unlucky not to have played origin as he would have been an ideal 14.

Took over the mantle of Mr Fixit from Chris Flannery. Played in just about every position, even had the number 7 on his back in the 2018 GF.

Absolute disgrace that he never got to play Origin. Would of played over a dozen if he was a Queenslander.

Great clubman and an even better human. Congrats on joining the elite 300 club.

yep ...I think he is the only player in history who has ever pushed Cooper Cronk out of the no.7 jersey !
