I loved it when they called out the number 7 and halfback for the Roosters to collect their medal in 2018, Maubs headed towards the podium laughing his arse off.

    Chook.

If Cordner, Tupou & JMoz are back this week then I think we can rest him for the occasion...

If not, then the club should make a big deal about it at the next home game.

resting him so that he can get plaudits at home would go v what he stands for.

Based on my count I think MAubs will take the overall record in the home game against the Broncos. Am I right?

Not much to add, just want to see this post grow. A great club man and footballer, deserves his spot in the hall of fame.

Rarely talked up other than by those who really appreciate him.

I will be very happy for a man of his calibre to take Mini's record.

Why do so many people think Toups is imminently back? From what I have heard and read except from various posters on here he is still 3/4 weeks away

Oh and congrats Maubs - club legend who makes the fabric of our jersey stronger for having worn it. I think it’s the all blacks who have the mantra - leave the jersey in a better place than when you first got it. They live and breath it - Maubs is the same.

Absolute disgrace that he never got to play Origin. Would of played over a dozen if he was a Queenslander.

Great clubman and an even better human. Congrats on joining the elite 300 club.
Blues never picked the right players...that's why they lost every series for a 'decade'.

Initial diagnosis was 8 weeks out so if he is on track the Broncos game would be his return game.

Yeah I thought it was something like that Fletch - thanks - almost another month until we expect Toups back.

My favourite MA memory was....... I think it was his debut season in 2007 when we played the tigers and he ran 90 metres to score a try but during the run he fended away a couple of tigers players to score in the corner.....or that's how I remember it anyway.

                            Anyone else remember this try?

Absolute Roosters legend , deserves all the highest accolades but very rarely gets them , should have played at least a dozen games for the blues but for some reason never got selected .I'm sure upon his retirement he will receive life membership because if ever anyone deserves it's this bloke . Congratulations on the 300 but it's not ending there ,Club record will be broken in coming weeks

I remember it, I’ve tried to look for footage before but to no avail.
