Good chance to have a look at Lam.
He would pose more of a threat in attack than flanno , nothing to lose by giving him a crack

Yeh he’s been doing roids with his mate Bronson. Can’t you tell how his goal kicks are now powerful.

Somebody on here asked for him to be axed, so Robbo listened. Will never play first grade again.

I’ve got no problem with him being dropped. Lam looks sharp and better suited to the half role rather than backup hooker/forward
          ..it’ll be interesting to see

Haha interesting, was he being to cautious on the accuracy side at the start of the year because iv seen 15 year olds kick them from the sideline

Friend will play the full 80 at 9 (God help us)

And Hutch will be a running lock like Lam over the past few weeks.

Which will be terrible since he is slower then Jackson Hastings....
For Lam not to play the 80 someone would have to get injured. I don’t think you want that.

I suppose next week will tell us a lot.

I am a huge fan of Lam as a backup dummy half. He hasn't impressed the few games at half in previous years. Hopefully he has improved heaps.
If true, something I'm starting to really admire about Robbo is that it doesn't matter who you are, he has an inner and an outer circle. If you fark about, you're gone and it doesn't matter how 'inferior'/inexperienced your replacement is... Robbo will slot them in and you'll be punted.

Haven't seen this much but in memory Hastings, Latrell and Reece Robinson have seen this cold shoulder before (arguably Pearce). There's a certain air about it... once Robbo's done this to you, you're gonna have to work bloody hard to get back into his good books. He makes it clear!

Also, end of the day Flanno was hired as a 1st grade recruit because Lam wasn't ready. Lam's a half (not a hooker), he's slowly worked his way into the firsts and he's been good. One line of argument could be that Lam's playing better footy...

No way has Flanno been dropped.

                      Has Papanhuyzen been dropped?

                      Let's not be silly.

The Dragons game is a 5 day turnaround and Robbo is giving the 15 game rookie a rest with a view to the bigger picture ahead.

IF hes not carrying a niggle that Robbo doesnt want to expose...its a combo of:

                        * a freshen up and reflect time for Flan and;
                        * a reward for Lam for his attitude and commitment.

Robbo misread the never play Hall again thread - shame he only skim reads the chook pen’s coaching advice

Flanno getting dropped is laughable. No chance. No way Robbo drops the starting halfback who has been defending well and winning games, also the main goalkicker. Ridiculous, it's just his turn to get a rest....

Hutcho will start and Lam will continue playing the no.14 role.

SST and Hutcho will kick goals.
