Tonight is all about Aubo. Rarely do we get the opportunity to celebrate a club stalwart achieving the milestone of 300 games for our great club. Aubo is only the 3rd.

It’s not about the opposition tonight it’s about concentrating on our own game and playing our best footy. There is no conceivable way that we could send Aubo away anything but a winner tonight. He has provided so many great memories for us. He has sacrificed much for our club. He needs to be leaving the stadium tonight with a smile on his face.

Congrats Aubo on a marvellous career and on achieving this milestone. And congrats to Teddy on his 150th.

Only blot in his copybook as far as I'm concerned is giving away a penalty try in the GF against Manly.

He is hands down the best player never to have been selected for State of Origin. Seriously! The selectors must've been crazy! Can play any position on the field. How awesome would he have been on the bench! NSW probably would've won one or two more with him there!

For the first time since the start of 2019 we go into a game and I don’t feel 100% certain of a win. I give us 70% chance but a win and 2 points will be a huge achievement considering we are missing 8/17 firsts squad , add to that the loss of Cronk, Mitchell and tets from last year’s squad and you’ll see why I feel down on confidence.
however watching Maubs play his 300 after seeing our first 300 player Ricketson followed by Mini is a very special occasion.

good luck to lachie lam - desperately unlucky to get injured at the wrong time last year and now has a chance to show us what he's got.

we need to really roll up our sleeves for this one. do all the basics well and hang tough throughout the full 80.

I feel the same way. I always expect to win but tonight will be tough. No left centre is a worry but the forwards are my big concern. The bench offers nothing. Butch has little impact as a starter. If we win I expect SST for man of the match. He, along with Collins and Liu will need to play more minutes than usual.

So happy I have the opportunity to attend what I am hoping will be a special occasion for Aubo.

Tonight’s MVP (Most Valuable Person) for us is Robbo. Without 7 regulars (Not counting Rads & Sam V) this is a game where Robbo’s tactics are important. Other than ensuring our defence is at its best, I hope he has worked hard on identifying what are the saints strengths and weaknesses and use that info to attack the saints intelligently, that means caution in giving too much ball to Dufty and sending a lot of traffic to their weakest link, Hunt.

I think the game is a lot more even than the bookies have it. If Liu is out then surely they become favourites.

I wish we had a few more regulars for Maubs' 300th but hopefully the boys do it for him.
