Verrills next year as well of course. Fifita and Butcher Jnr hopefully also get their chances next year too. The future looks bright.

Hi Everyone, some observations from last nights game.- Kickoffs and drop-outs where done by Lam and Keary last night, usually both done by Teddy??
- Tupouniua runs a great line and is really growing into the role. This is important as Cordner regularly misses games each year (rest/injury/SOO)
- Not sure where I see Butcher's long term role. To me he is like Aubusson, a great club man that can cover many different positions. Having rewatched the 2019 GF a few times you realise what an amazing effort he put in, especially in defense
- Hutchison reminds me the most of the way Radley plays. If you watch our 3rd try the way he goes to the line like a ball playing forward and plays to Keary. While I can't see him starting he is a good versatile squad player
- Manu made some amazing goal-line tackles but his technique one on one still has some improvement. He does not lead with the shoulder and seems to grab a bit. In saying that he is a super-star.
- We have some great forwards coming through the club, all 3 off the bench looked great last night. While only a small sample size a thought Bailey looks like a natural rugby league player. If you watch his highlights from the Bears (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbCe750yCcE) he has a great off-load in him
- At this stage IMO Lam is a better fit then Flanagan. He has a great kicking game, can tackle but offers a lot more in attack. This seemed to take some of the pressure off Keary, what does everyone think?
- If BMoz does not play next year I'm pretty happy to have Ikuvarlu play on the wing. While maybe not a superstar he competes and gives his all. (B Smith would be in contention as well)

The thing that tips me towards Flanno is his goal kicking. We saw what might be without him. Not sure why Lam and Hutcho took kicks while SST was on the field. The game was fairly tight so I can't assume it was because of giving them a practice shot. I would be fairly nervous about semis if we didn't have a confident goal kicker on the field for 80 minutes.

one thing out of the game - i'd like to see sitili hungrier when he gets a chance to put the ball over the line. i think he's been help up a couple of times this year and he was almost held up on thursday.
he does all the hard work and he's a big strong guy and if he gets over the line he should get the ball down. could tweak things a bit.
