  • Lam

Massive night tonight. Make or breaker really.

He makes some dud decisions from what I've seen. Hopefully I'm wrong and he puts in a blinder.

    We'll soon see.

Hes bought good energy off the bench recently. I'll be interested to see if he goes missing - i hope not, quality halves are as rare as unicorns he could well become one

Back in his natural position, I hope he blitzes it.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I wouldn't say i'm overly thrilled with Lam's prospects. He has good traits as a footballer, i'm just not convinced he has a high ceiling.

That said, this is definitely NOT make or break for him tonight. Don't know where yr thinking is coming from there.

Had a solid first half - looks more dangerous with the ball than Flanno

If it weren’t for his last name he probably wouldn’t be playing NRL. Not a bad player as such, but just very much a reserve grader right now.

in fact you can say that about all of our halfbacks at the moment

If it wasn't for the Lam surname there would be no Victor Radley in the NRL, so don't dismiss it

Wanna see more from Lam in the second half. Hopefully Hutchison doesn’t get in his way too much.

                        A very strong performance.

Dangerous ball running, a great kicking game, strong defence, and tricky, nifty hands reminiscent of his dad.

He's a first grade standard halfback for sure.

Did really well. Defensively tight as.

Not surprised to hear Trent Robinson mention in his interview tonight that picking Lam allowed Keary to roam around a lot more and took pressure off him which allowed Keary to play his natural game..

Kind of confirms Flanagan’s lack of running game is what possibly cost him his spot tonight..

Done good. If he could kick goals at 80% he probably keeps the gig for the rest of the year. We need Flanno for his goal kicking.

Lam has been very good as a backup dummy half and I think he'll be back there in a couple of weeks.
