this thread is about his suspension and there are 5 other threads where you can get stuck into him, but okay -
made 3 big mistakes in the first half and should have done better with all of them but i thought the only really bad one was being pushed back in goal. it's not the first time that's happened but it should be the last.
the two tries were obviously more significant and he should have stopped both of them but lomax and frizell aren't slouches.
if he continues to play like he did in the second half he'll get more fans on side.
I'm not hating on old halldog, he's is having a red hot crack and he did play well in the second half. So yes maybe that was a little harsh . ...

Perhaps it's open to interpretation but as the rules as posted in the NRL site re 8 pt try, which i posted a few msgs prior to this, it doesn't say in anyway that it has to be inside the try line. For example what would happen if a player punched Keary in the face just about 1m infield as he is about to score a try? Other than getting cited or sin binned, will his team not be penalised for that too?

      Touching down includes:
      a) In the act of scoring; and
Keary was in the act of scoring as he was somewhat airborne to dive in.

I hope the judiciary uses common sense and dismisses Hall’s charge.

Jake is free to play this week after an early plea. Fair result imo

Luke Keary’s tripper from Saints accepted a two week suspension which is good to hear that they aren’t just giving fines for that.
        ..it’ll be interesting to see
