We went after freaking Ryan James but got turned down. If we can get TPJ for cheap and can turn him into a prop he would be very handy.

I agree that he is talented and also believe he could be a sensation in the right environment but surely we are loaded for forwards and there just isn't a place for him. As damaged goods as he is, there will be clubs like the Dragons and Bulldogs who would be able to offer him very good coin and are desperate to bring in talent, regardless of the baggage. I see no way that we would bring him in, given our roster.

We have the best front row rotation in the NRL bar none. No one has great depth out there.
