this year i would like too see maubs running of pearce and mini around as support.(Backing up for a ofload or for the quick play the ball)mini was too involved last year in the starts of back line attacks. if maubs and jwh are of pearces hip (both capeable of ofloads) then this will create forward attack with a bit of punch with our centres and wingers lining up for inside running or back line running. our sucess in 2010 was maubs playing of carney. 2011 was mini of pearce. soooowrong.1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020

Given the club wanted very much for Moga to play last year, Carney will be challenged...I pick the next Izzy to prevail"Qui audet adipiscitur"

Agree with Vasco except for two small points - Moga will be there somewhere and Justin Carney is going to surprise a few people this year if he plays in the centres and not the wing. If BJ is in the backline he must be a centre. He was awful on the wing last year, lacked speed and poor defence. BJ may struggle to make the team unless played as a backrower/utility of the bench.

People said the same last year, and the only surprising thing was he was even more hopeless than I'd imagined he could be.
He can tackle, and that is it.

You get the feeling Moga will play round 1. I really think left wing, left centre, lock and bench backrower will be decided by trial form. With so many new players like Tagive, Henry, Moga and Bosden I really think Smith is still a fair way off knowing his round 1 side.
