I disagree I think Smith has got his 17 in line. I think Moga is the only guy who may threaten a backline position if he plays out of his skin in the trials or their is an injury but I could only see it being on the wing. Smith will go with what he has in the past in the forwards, unless preseason injury. Bosden Takairangi Symonds will get a run during the year because of injury.

Defence would be a lot less vulnerable but geez it would be disappointing to see J Carney get a centre spot ahead of Leilua and Moga, both far better attackers. Might get an indication of who Smith will go with by who he picks at 3 in the foundation cup. I think he'll give Moga a full game at centre in the Belmore trial to see how he plays tired cos I remember a Smith quite saying he'd never seen Moga play tired before and wasn't sure if he could yet handle the last 10 mins of a first grade game.

If carney is in our 17 then we will be in big trouble for round 1.

          Nah.

If he is consistently in our 17 we're in trouble, but for Round 1 I could see the logic.

Expecting Moga to play his first ever top flight game marking a fitter-than-usual Greg Inglis is a big ask.

The one thing (some would say only thing) Carney can do consistently is tackle. He's a good defender in contact.

That said, if they go to the air for GI we're fuucked.

Luckily Moga (or whoever is at left centre) should be marking Dylan Farrell.. with SKD marking Inglis.

Haha very true... well there goes that idea!

                1. Anthony Minichiello
                2. Peni Tagive
                3. Tau Tau Moga
                4. Shaun Kenny-Dowell
                5. Adam Henry

                6. Daniel Mortimer
                7. Mitchell Pearce

                8. Martin Kennedy
                9. Jake Friend
                10. Jared Warea-Hargreaves
                11. Aiden Guerra
                12. Jack Bosden
                13. Boyd Cordner

                14. Anthony Mitchell
                15. Mose Masoe
                16. Lama Tasi
                17. Mitchell Aubusson

*Henry and Tagive are much taller and much, much faster and defensively more sound than Perrett, but Perrett will get a spot as he is a good club man.

** Anyone is better in the #6 jumper than Anasta

*** I think Jack Bosden could be the real surprise packet for us this year and with him and Guerra could do a fair bit of damage. I have got them starting and Aubusson on the bench for his utility value.
Im sorry, but this is ridiculous. Perrett and Aubo will be two of the first picked, and so they should be.

                  Bronte,

No doubt they will be, I was just offering a different opinion doesn't make it ridiculous.

                  Cheers

And when SKD does that reach out and grab tackle, and the BurgerKinglis does a massive palm on him and takes off down field, we'll all be worried again.

Maybe we could hire one of those hotdog cannons and shoot cheeseburgers at BurgerKinglis to distract him?

Everybody "spoke to" the players and yet they have all said different things. The club's official news also seems to be different!!

FWIW I saw Bronson Harrison walking past my office the other day. Bet that's closer than many of these posters get to NRL players

John Cartwright walks past my place everyday, but I still don't have any idea what the Tits are up to.
What have I been doing wrong?

LOL Chook56. Jism has lost his mind. He has been consumed by delusions and paranoia.
