I would not be too against that tbh. I'd hate to see Marty go down again because he didn't heal properly, especially when we have so many capable props at the moment. Cherro looks a long way off in my opinion. Saw him yesterday limping around. At this stage in the rehab process he should be way past limping so I'd say he's reinjured it to some degree.

If those two can come back mid year with the rest of the team in form we're specials to make the top 4.

I'd give up. I would of given up after the first one. You've got to think about when you're old and your quality of life.

A smuch as I'd like to see Cherro come good, I believe we have some = very talented players who are younger and haven't missed the same amount of footy. If Cherro and Marty do not come good, I think we have them covered..In saying that, Hope they both come back and are the 2 best forwards weve ever seen..

I've heard that to re: Kennedy... not sure why Smith keeps leading fans on to believe that he's a chance for rd 1, it'd take an amazing recovery.

The Roosters home page names Cherrington, Kennedy & SKD as our injured players, SKD is a possible for Rd 1. No mention of BJ or Moga as being injured so with that in mind I predict our Rd 1 team will be

                1. Mini
                2. BJ
                3. Maubs. I dont agree. Maybe SKD
                4. Moga
                5. Perrett
                6. Anasta
                7. Pearce
                8. Tasi
                9. Friend
                10. JWH
                11. Cordner
                12. Guerra but from what I saw of the game last night I would go with Symonds.
                13. FPN. I would go with Bosden.
                14. Mose
                15. Takairangi
                16. depends if SKD plays. Guerra if he does. If not probably Arona on trial form.
                17. Mortimer, which is tough on Mitchell because he is a true dummy half & has heaps more experience & has been playing well.

I just dont see enough quality in the spine.
Their is no zip. Friend has no vision. Pearce is a good 1/2 back but every team knows how he plays. Anasta really has to start to create & take the opposition on putting the centres through holes. Mini is similar to Jake a very good player but is no longer a danger player to oppositions.

saw the footage of Moga's injury, it didn't look good his foot/ankle got badly caught and twisted, wouldn't surprise if he had a small fracture or worst case a syndesmosis.

the club has certainly been very coy on the injuries to Cherro/Kennedy and now SKD/Moga, don't be surprised if they are out longer than expected.

If moga has a syndesmosis he will need some rest, hopefully just a twist .. some rice and a few days off..

                        • If Tagive doesn't get a gig for Round 1 I'll be spewing, the guy is everything we have been looking for in a winger, he is big, strong, and super fast and can make good metres out of dummy half just like Perrett (but he is much, much faster).

Or has his time as a Smith pet project come to an end?
