  • Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Storm

The scars from Round 8 are still showing. Not because we lost but because we played so poorly. Completion was awful and defence allowed in 4 tries. Despite this, we had an unassailable lead yet still lost. Only a win tonight win help get over this.

We have had Melbourne’s measure the last few seasons. We are missing guys but they are far weakened without Princess Cam and head-kicker Cam. We are a team. They rely on one individual. I have full confidence in our side that we can get the win.

Can’t wait for us to avenge that last lost and to see us play good footy. Hope to see you out there.

    Go Roosters!

I'm at work, but looking forward to this one. toss of the coin for me, hate to say , storm may have the edge. we have more outs, they have more critical outs. heart says roosters by 4...head says on never mind....go chooks .

Jmoz is back so that will stiffen up our defense and add to our attack , as Thirteen said we are missing players but we do not make excuses . Roosters by 7

My prediction - Roosters 13+ and Hall to score a double. Rest of the comp gets the poo’s cause we knocked off Melbourne with half our Team out. Lolllllll
        Red, White and Bluesters!!!

Pressure is on Lam to perform and for a win. And if we lose by a goal kick all hell will break loose in the media why we didn’t have our only and best goal kicker playing. I think if Flanno doesn’t get a game soon he’ll be asking for an early release. I’d like to know what’s really going on here. Even his dad wants to know.Don’t like where this is going. Trent just repeats a script but I doubt that’s the real reason.

Amazing! We have 8 out from the squad and according to the punters and footy experts we are still favourites for this game. Lara Pitt stated last night that the only few times that Smith and Munster have been out at the same time, they have lost. Good to know but I still feel that Hughes is going to have to be closely marked and please ball security! That’s what costs us last time more than Klein’s interference.

And everyone on here goes on about how great Hall actually is because he was just in the right place at the right time.

I only fear Carr in space. Otherwise if the defence is there he is easy meat and always gets driven back. Toops is a much better winger and our boys Iku and Hall will make many more metres running from our danger end than what Carr will running from his danger end.

great win last week and similar team this week, though jmoz is a big in. we won't be patting ourselves on the back from last week but if we do we will lose.

will be hard to finish top 2 if we lose but we'll play this game for itself.

sure the boys will do us proud.

                    go easts!

The biggest scar from our last game is our skipper is still out because of their dirty head slamming tactics.

Is that so? I’m waiting for Kate Beckinsale to make her Footy commentary debut!

I feel the same watching Brittany Taylor doing the WA racing form.

And he did play the ball in accordance to the rules but the biggest rort of that was the penalty given at the end. In the Souffs game Latrell did the same push on Teddy where Teddy was getting up to play the ball and Latrell pushed him down in front of the posts, and who was the ref? Klein and said play on!
