No luck with injuries...we were gone at the 20th minute...If keary is gone we cant compete in the semis..he gets back and at full strength we win.
Ikuvalu was our best ..teddy and taki tried hard but too many errors
.Morris bombed a couple and Taki got ripped off.....we will have to fight for the semis from 5th or 6th spot

We won 6-0 once Keary went off the field. We got this...

Luke was in agonising pain. I hope he gets better soon. Have to say I’m proud that we did so well with so many players missing. We were clearly outplayed but put in a mighty effort. If we worked real hard on our completions then I think the score would have been only about 4 different but we lost a lot of ball and so many errors.

The emotion of the game makes us all say things we probably wouldn’t under a level head.

The boys were trying they were just outclassed by a superior forward pack and like you said just made too many fundamental errors.

It’s a disappointing score line but it was nice to see them fight back and stop it from becoming an embarrassing one .

Couldn't agree more. I can see what then plan was by starting Butcher up front, and bringing Collins off the bench but in the end it handed them the early running and we just couldn't get back in to the game. I liked the energy off the bench in the second half by our young guys and the effort was there but once we had all the positional changes we just lacked that cohesion

Trying to take any positives out of a bad night at the office.

Our wingers were good...nice debut young Tuips looks plenty of potential, and Ikuvalu is stronger than last season and played well.

Despite errors both Lindsay and SST tried their darnedest to get back on top second half.

Big downside 3 more injuries to key players esp Luke hope he is ok mainly. He might be too tough for his own good. Thoughts with him now.

Jake a light of other days at present....needs a big shift.

We only play the raiders of any significance until the finals so hopefully we can nurse our way into the finals and hope Keary will be back by then. The fact he walked out might be that the injury won’t be that bad.

Too many errors from us and got dominated by their forwards. We'll cope this loss on the chin and pray Luke & Maub is ok

I predict we'll bounce back from round 17 onward on all cylinders to the GF

Tigers & then Broncos in the next fortnight.

We must do whatever it takes to bank those 4 points.

Then we play 5th & 6th in the Raiders and Knights. Hopefully we have regrouped by this point and we can hold onto 4th position.

If we can navigate those 4 games and still be in the top 4 with 2 rounds to go then I truly believe we can do anything in this comp at full strength or as close to as possible.

I know the sting had gone out of the game but I was quite pleased the boys kept going to the end. SST , Teddy and Manu kept going to the end and posed some problems for the storm.
I thought ikavalu was terrific besides that knock on early on when Addo-Carr looked like he grabbed his arm.
The young debutant kept going even though the copped a hammering and got a well deserved try , a bit of inexperience by trying to get up off kicks when he should have stayed down.
Very worrying the further injuries we received especially to Keary which if long term realistically ends our seasons hopes.
We didn't get any love from Sutton but I just sound like a whinging old bitch going on about refs so I'll let it go.
Don't like to read fans saying they are giving up on the team and such , not real staunch and I don't know if I'd want you in the trenches.
The boys didn't turn it up and neither should you.

Ribs are a real tricky one. I’d say the fact that he’s been rushed to hospital would mean they suspect a broken rib and taking precaution around a possible punctured lung.

Touch wood all is ok and it’s a bit of rib cartilage.

Dropped too much ball and put ourselves under too much pressure early. But very brave in the second half. There were so called supporters on Facebook saying the guys weren't trying and it was the worst game they have ever seen. Seriously some people take things too far

If we didn’t try we would of had 40+ put on us, good effort in the end.

The game was won and lost in the forwards - just too many injuries upfront and it showed tonight, the fact that butcher started at prop tells you everything you need to know.

The real issue now is the Keary injury. To win a comp you need a bit of luck and we have had none.
