What's with people giving it to Robbo and questioning his character?
The bloke sits alongside Uncle Nick as the greatest thing to ever happen to this club.
Talk about fickle.
It was a shit night and we lost the forward battle, had very little luck and again got decimated by injuries. However we will be fourth on Sunday night and play Wests in 9 days, followed by the broncos and then canberra away. If we can struggle through the next 2 and win, the big game is the Canberra one as it may decide 4th. We will get B Morris, Cordner, JWH, Crichton, Tupou back and they will make us stronger. The key to whether we have a chance ito win the comp is how long Keary and Lam are out. We will have Flanagan to come in but we really need Keary and at this stage its not looking good.
We were the first team to go back to back in 26 years and this year we have had no luck with injuries, so maybe it won't be our year, but I am extremely proud of our effort and I am very glad that we have Robbo. Experiences like this will stand our young blokes in good stead for the future. This is also about the future.

It's the penalties the Roosters don't receive means another lost penalty count tonight (2 - 4)."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

The only two guys who didn't play and weren't injured were Flanagan and Hall.
We've had plenty of luck unfortunately it's been all bad.
I don't know if anyone has had calf injuries before but they don't heal quickly and you can't push off.
Let's give Robbo and his medical team the benefit of the doubt instead of tramping up to Spring St with pitchforks and nooses.

Great question. That and the way they slow the ruck down. Then Keary had his legs cleared out again but of course no penalty.

Maybe now he'll realise that he can't leave stars out at his whim against our main rival. Starting with Butcher at prop against the Storm pack was a stupid move. Dropping Flannigan for Lam was a stupid move. Our depth is good but some selections are eye raising.

He's as good or a better goalkicker than what the likes of the Tigers, Dogs, Knights and Cowboys trot out every week.
he’s kicked at about 65% the last 3 years so I don’t know about that.
he is also only on the field 50-60 mins

When viewing the replay of the tackle on Keary, I noticed a player,( I think it was No 17) come in behind Keary while he was held up and drop his shoulder into Kearys ribs. Then 3 players drop on top of him when he hit the ground. It's something the match review committee could look at. Probably wont though.
Cannon ball tackle, anyone?Last edited by Kramer; 08-13-2020, 11:52 PM.
