  • The Challenge of the 3 Peat

It is clearly an understatement to say that in order to achieve the first triple premiership in 36 years In the NRL our great club will have to overcome close to their biggest injury crisis in the modern era.
I really don’t know what to read into today’s official recovery update. In my opinion Lam is done for the season. Surgery on a syndo injury equals 8 weeks at best. I really feel for Lam as I have always rated him and believe he can make it, this was a big chance for him and injury has hit him and the club hard. Equally the lack of guidance on Aubo is also a worry. I hope he gets to a least equal Mini’s record, but I don’t think he is a starter ahead of Cords and Gus. If it’s his last then being between Mini and Ricko is still an achievement.
I see the next 3 games as crucial to our hopes this year. If our severely undermanned team can find a way to beat West’s and Brisbane in the next 2 rounds we will hopefully get some troops back for The away game at Canberra. This game is crucial as the raiders have a softer draw and it may decide 4th. Then hopefully we get Keary and more soldiers back for the final 3 games. If we can get 4th we are alive.
everyone needs to get behind the boys next Saturday night regardless of who is in the jersey. GO EASTS

I think we will get five back over the next two games. Then Keary and SBW for the Canberra game. Only Aubbo and Lam to come back after that.

I still think we will win our three in a row.

Hopefully the timing of these injuries, and the valuable game time and experience our youngsters are getting, might be a blessing in disguise - to put us in a strong position when it matters most. We will give it a shake.
              MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

broken rib usually take 6 weeks to heal - fractures 3 to 4 weeks- on nrl casualty ward he(Keary) is listed as returning round 17- seems early if broken rib?
